Our microlight
The Savannah
S
The Savannah microlight is particularly well suited to pilot training and safe flying, thanks to its stability, handling and excellent low-speed performance.
Its low stall speed and short take-off and landing capability give a wide safety margin, especially when operating from basic strips such as microlight airfields.
Its strong aluminium structure, the reliable Rotax 912 engine (maintained by our own aircraft workshop) and its emergency parachute add further to its safety.
A side-by-side two-seater, it makes teaching easier, as well as instructor–student communication and monitoring of the student's actions.
These qualities explain its great popularity with our students at the Aéro-Club du Dauphiné.
The Savannah is valued as a safe, forgiving microlight that is good to learn on.
Its cruising speed of about 170 km/h and 4-hour endurance make it a reliable aircraft, for touring as well as for leisure flights.
